With over 25 years of experience in character-driven animation, Izabela Bzymek has made her mark across feature films, commercials, and television. As an award-winning director, she is best known for her work on Oma’s Quilt, a short film produced by the National Film Board of Canada. Izabela is recognized for her leadership, consistently delivering high-quality animation on tight deadlines, while fostering a collaborative environment that ensures seamless production across teams.

Classically trained and deeply passionate about animation, Izabela recently expanded her portfolio to include video games, becoming fluent in industry-leading tools such as Unreal Engine and Maya. She now leads a team creating high-quality animation for games, television shows, and independent projects.

Her dedication to the craft extends to education, where she has shared her expertise as an advanced animation instructor at renowned institutions such as Vancouver Film School (2018–2019), AnimSchool (2019–2021), and 3D Sense Media in Singapore (2023–present). Izabela’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of animators has made her a respected figure in both the animation and gaming industries.
